How do you select who sits in each EA Circle?
Every EA Circle is different, with its own group dynamic and we take great care to ensure that new members represent the right 'fit' with the existing membership.
Each new member is met by the Managing Director and CEO of The EA Circle. The aim of the meeting is to gain an understanding as to why they have joined The EA Circle, and what they would like to achieve from their membership. We also discuss personal and professional interests, background and experience and most importantly challenges and achievements. The size and scale of their organisation is also another factor in finding the right 'fit'.
Shaping the membership of each group is one of the key roles of The EA Circle and is taken very seriously.
Who are the Chairmen of The EA Circle?
The EA Circle appoints independent chairmen to lead, inspire and guide each of The EA Circles. These chairmen are drawn from the wider business community and are selected for their facilitation skills, knowledge and experience. They are senior business figures, and the majority hold a number of directorships. Their role in The EA Circle is to offer guidance and support.
How many members in each of The EA Circles?
Each of The EA Circle groups are exclusive and intimate. A typical EA Circle group meeting has between 6 to 10 members in attendance.
Who determines what is discussed in The EA Circle meeting?
There is a set agenda at every meeting. What is included in that agenda is determined by the respective chairman and the members of that EA Circle. The agenda is however a living and breathing document and the group determines what direction the meeting will take.
